The landscape video is intended as a pre-roll YouTube ad.
Its length means it will, by default, be skippable - a gesture which I have found people appreciate. Yet it's so short, most people won't bother, and will watch to the end regardless.
The vertical video is an Instagram advert, intended primarily for reels viewers.
Instagram and TikTok require an immediacy which many platforms do not.
Both of the videos tend towards putting some fun and vibrancy into the tool - usually a solid way to boost initial viewer retention. Whilst we would never want to ignore the precision and craftsmanship which makes Metmo unique, it's always worth remembering that quality doesn't have to be slow.




These images were shot with limitless cropping in mind - great for maximising edit efficiency and keeping an easy consistency across multiple ad spots.
In this instance, I simply retrieved all of my nice tools and arranged them on cardboard, but to expand on this, we could create a thematic set - surround the driver with nice pens and stationary, outdoor equipment, or camera gear for example.
I have found great value in scalable themes like this, given how quickly it allows us to create a broad range of imagery for limitless purposes, whilst maintaining a cohesive campaign.
